All My Books for Windows

AMB has been my book manager for years - dependable and simple to use. Over the years, and because of new computer builds, I've had some minor questions that I forwarded to support with a response within hours.

I have used AMB since 2008, but most additions started in 2011. database is 8500 books -a lot on my wish list. it has improved over the years, and i continue to enjoy adding, rating, and closing out books. one of my favorite areas is location...i have all types of books and after reading them i can indicate what i did with it. i highly recommend it

Excellent software -simple to use and does exactly what we want. As steady readers all year round but especially on holiday there is nothing more annoying than buying/borrowing a book and getting it home only to realise you have already read it !!!! Have AllMyBooks on the laptop but also on both our phones so it is always easy to check before buying.

Ease of use, self-loading information, excellent service to customers, it just makes sense and works like a charm. Once you own it, the updates of the same version are free and you can keep using it forever. If you want to move up in versions then you need to pay the fee, not an exaggeration. I've had it for many years now, I've entered about 600 books in it and there are many 100s to go, without counting the e-books I have on my system and that I have not recorded in yet. I am using All My Books since years and I do not want to miss it. It is really a great software and I have not found anything comparable so far. I do have only one problem and this is why I sometimes check for alternative programs. All My Books is not available for Mac OS. I have installed Parallels on my Mac only to continue using All My Books.

If you do not have a lot of special needs for your database, AMB is a really excellent tool and they are always looking to improve it. Its pretty intuitive and easy to use; I personally appreciate that they created an app so I have my books on my phone and when I go shopping/thrifting, I can check if I already own something. I also appreciate the loan tracking option, as I am an educator and frequently share my books with students.
